Prime Minister’s Secretary General Suranand Vejajiva revealed about the courtesy call of Sir Simon Robertson, Chairman of Rolls-Royce Plc., to Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra.
The Chairman of Rolls-Royce Plc. expressed interest in investing in Thailand and was pleased with the Thai Government’s support. He confirmed that more investment would be constantly made, as well as the exchange of technology and know-how in order to improve Thai aviation’s technology and skills as part of its goal to be an aviation hub.
PM Yingluck thanked Rolls-Royce Plc. for its contribution to Thailand’s aviation and space development during the past several years. She also informed the Rolls-Royce Chairman of the Government’s aim to make Thailand a regional aviation hub, to establish space and aviation industrial estate, as well as an aviation maintenance-repair-overhaul (MRO) center, and expressed her hope that Rolls-Royce Plc. would be part of the three development projects.
