PM Yingluck welcomed Vice Chairman of Credit Suisse AG (Asia Pacific) on the occasion of his visit to Thailand and was pleased to learn that the 16th Credit Suisse Asian Investment Conference (AIC) will be held in Hong Kong on March 8-22, 2013. PM Yingluck reaffirmed that the Government of Thailand has constantly promoted and supported both foreign direct investment (FDI) and Thai investment in the foreign countries, and has intended to maintain and continue with business friendly environment.
On this occasion, Credit Suisse AG Asia Pacific’s Vice Chairman invited PM Yingluck to attend the 16th Credit Suisse Asian Investment Conference (AIC). The Prime Minister said she would be pleased to attend the conference should there be no official mission during the period since this conference is considered significant and beneficial for investors around the world, and PM Yingluck would like to share experiences and policies of the Thai Government at the event. According to the Prime Minister, collaborating with the private sector is truly essential. She also added that the Conference would benefit a great deal to ASEAN countries as a whole particularly when the ASEAN Community will be officially implemented in the next 2 years.
